Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Savannah, Georgia

Start Date: 07/21/2025

End Date: 01/12/2026

Shift: 3x12 Days (12-hour day shifts)

Weekly Pay: $2,216/week

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for a 26-week travel contract in Savannah, GA. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care to adult patients with complex medical needs.
  • Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform frequent assessments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations.
  • Accurately document all nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Georgia or compact state.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU or Stepdown experience.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).
  • Strong telemetry skills and experience with cardiac drips preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred).

Contract Details:

  • Assignment Length: 26 weeks
  • Start Date: July 21, 2025
  • End Date: January 12, 2026
  • Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Full-time; typically rotating weekends)
  • Compensation: $2,216/week, paid weekly
